A New Week! A New Freebie!

Hi Everyone!

I hope you all liked your little Mother's Day surprise. :)
The Maman Kit is now in my Stone Accents Studio Store, so go have a look. It's for sale, but very low-priced.

It's certainly been a very busy week for me, I assure you! Our photo shoot went off very well, and since I had been working like a horse to get the house, courtyard, back and front, and the flower beds ready, I crashed yesterday, relieved it was all over. With blisters on my thumbs and pain everywhere, I do realise that those 'battle scars' were well worth it.

The photo shoot was for a story, Our Love Story, which I wrote for a beautiful Australian magazine called Notebook: (http://www.notebookmagazine.com) ~ I'll let you all know when it gets published, just in case you are interested.

One of the layouts I made to honour Our Love Story is entitled "Daydreams The Poem," and I made it with Lynn Griffin's beautiful, lacy kit called very appropriately, "Lynn's Daydream" ~ you can find it in her Art and Scrap boutique. It's a complete kit with elements, papers, and a full album of lovely quickpages, and an add-on as well!

I'm on her CT now, so I'll be making lots of layouts for her, and also for all the Art and Scrap designers, as well. I am so blessed to have been chosen!! I'll be posting all my layouts for Art and Scrap on my Creative By Stella Blog, as well as featuring a few now and then on this blog.

Daydreams
My brain has two hemispheres:
One that writes logically,
thinks linearly, talks sensibly
The other emotes, creates,
plays, cries, and laughs

I fear I've paid more attention
these past few years
to the one of whom the world approves
A left-brained world likes logical thinkers

In living there, I've almost lost contact
with my imagination, my colours,
my laughter, my music
I want to daydream again
I want to sit on a swing and
imagine myself a princess
who can have anything she wishes
because the world is a friendly place

I want to see rainbows
bathe in a mist of change and mystery...
I want to play again

A Thursday Freebie!
